Tickets on Sale Now for Palm Canyon Tour
Tickets are now on sale for Desert Tasty Tours’ new walking food tour in Palm Springs, along Palm Canyon Drive. The company also offers a tour of El Paseo in Palm Desert. Tours are available Wednesdays through Saturdays, beginning at 11 a.m. in Palm Springs and 11:30 a.m. in Palm Desert.
“With so much activity happening in downtown Palm Springs, coupled with the wide variety of restaurants, adding a Palm Canyon tour to our offerings made perfect sense,” said Kristy Kneiding, owner of Desert Tasty Tours. “Our food tours are a fun, casual way to sample the sights, sounds and flavors of these downtown districts.”
The three-hour, guided culinary and cultural stroll combines enticing food tastings with historical, architectural and unique insights from a local guide. The tours include a wide range of samplings, comparable to a lunch, grazing style. Along the way, Desert Tasty Tour guides will highlight why these unique locations are an integral part of the cities’ culinary landscape, how they came to be, and some little known facts about the owners and the dishes they serve.
Each tour accommodates up to 14 people and includes tastings at six different restaurants/ specialty food shops. The walking food tours cover approximately one to 1.5 miles, are suitable for all fitness levels, and are most appropriate for ages 13 and up. Tickets are $48 per person and include all tastings.
