About

Desert Tasty Tours is the Palm Springs area’s first food tour company, offering a culinary journey along El Paseo, in Palm Desert, CA and Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs.

The Palm Springs and Palm Desert areas, located an easy 2-hour drive from Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego, are no stranger to annual art, food and wine festivals. However, there was no permanent offering for locals and visitors alike to experience a culinary journey and learn about the art, architecture, and history of these cities and the surrounding Coachella Valley. Desert Tasty Tours was born out of the desire to provide such an experience.

The fabulous boulevard of El Paseo is a dining, shopping and art district like no other. With sculptures lining the medians of this unique destination, art is an integral part of the street’s visual appeal. While Palm Desert is a relatively young city (incorporated in 1974), it has a fascinating history, has become a cultural mecca and attracts the rich and famous. Our entertaining tour guides will give you the inside scoop!

Palm Springs is rich in history, first settled by the Cahuilla Indians, and has been, and continues to be the playground to the stars — Hollywood East. On this tour of downtown restaurants, learn about the Hollywood connection, famous architecture, popular events and what continues to make the city a unique resort destination that is on the move.

If you are just visiting the area, we suggest you experience Desert Tasty Tours at the beginning of your stay as to not miss the fabulous restaurants, specialty stores and shops you will see along the way. Plus, we highly recommend you save time after the tour to shop at the one-of-a kind- boutiques and your retail favorites you’ll see along the way.

We look forward to seeing you on our fun, educational culinary journey that is Desert Tasty Tours.
